... a Slobbering Neanderthal Right Wing Wacko? Why, a Whining Slobbering Neanderthal Right Wing Wacko! Who am I talking about, why Ann Coulter of course. Ms Coulter's viper tongue slithers between her lips as she spits her poisonous venom. She then has the gall to complain that she is constantly being attacked and called a Nazi. What is wrong, poor little Ms. Coulter, can't you take your own medicine? Please! If you can't take it why don't you try another profession, perhaps sniper would suit your personality. At least your victims could not strike back.

One Dollar One Vote
Well the Supremes have done it again, in an effort to suppress the middle and lower classes, they have gutted the campaign finance law which was designed to reduce the influence of money on our elections. At one point we had the concept of "One man, one vote", now our elections will be decided more and more by the money of big business and the super rich. The Supremes have changed our system to "One dollar, one vote".
Furthermore, as money becomes more and more important in our political system, corruption will increase exponentially. Those who have it will do everything they can to prevent the masses from increasing their share of the wealth of the country. The gradual reduction in real wages of the working man and woman is just one manifestation of this. The less we earn, the more they can keep.
This immigration bill is just another example of the effort to impoverish the average American. The oft heard statement that the illegals are doing work that Americans won't do is code for: "...work that that Americans won't do for the slave wages that the employer wants to pay".
The H1B visas are another example of the effort to enslave the American people. The purpose of the H1B visa is to provide workers for business when they can not find qualified Americans to fill the positions. Instead, many businesses never look for an American, instead they move immediately to import a foreign worker who is often paid below the prevailing wage. Failing this strategy they out-source our jobs to some third world country where they can pay pennies on the dollar for wages.
The current administration has done everything it can to aid and abet these aims. Soon we will not have any rights, or dreams as these people will take both from us.

A MATTER OF COMPETENCE
Why is it that public opinion is so against the war, is it because: the war is wrong, the war has been mismanaged, the population was never enlisted in the cause, we were lied to by the administration? I think that all of these reasons are responsible for the publics opposition to the war in Iraq.
All of this leads me to the conclusion that this is the most incompetent administration in history. At the very least the administration should have enlisted the population in the war effort, instead they carried on as usual, encouraging the population to go about its everyday business as if there were no reasons for sacrifice on the part of anyone except for those poor souls who are being wounded and killed in the administration's so-called war on terror. Note that they tried to short change the troops both with equipment in the field and medical care after they were wounded.
They keep shouting that if we don't fight them there, they will follow us home. Yet, they refuse to secure our boarders and ports of entry. They hold our security hostage for their so called immigration reform which is just a free pass for their big business buddies. They require passports for entry into the country for US citizens, but they can't anticipate the rush for new passports. Consequently, it now takes as long as 4 months to get a passport. Now they have to delay the implementation of the passport requirement. What idiots.
Why all of this incompetence? One reason is becoming apparent, they have populated their administration with political hacks who meet the one criterion for a job, political purity. This is becoming apparent in the Justice Dept., where their hacks hired lawyers for career positions on the basis of Republican loyalty. This is clearly illegal.
Is all of this evidence for incompetence? Yes, but it is also evidence of something else, pure evil! These people are attempting to set up a Fascist state of one party rule. They repeatedly violate the Constitution and our laws in the name of National Security. They believe that money is more important than our citizens, instead of one person one vote the Republicans believe in one dollar one vote. Unfortunately the Democrats seem to believe the same thing. Bush and his cronies will not be satisfied until we are a nation of slaves. In fact I believe that if the current day Republicans were in office during the period leading up to the Civil War, that we would still have slavery. Lincoln must be turning in his grave.

Political Affiliation
All of my adult life I was a registered Democrat, although I was a ticket splitter if I found a Republican who represented my views. Now, I have decided that affiliation with either party is a waste of my vote. I know that there are other small parties, but I view them the same way that I view the Republican and Democratic parties. I view both major parties as corrupt and neither party represents the American people. I am now registered as an independent. I think that I am part of a growing number of Americans who have decided that both parties are riddled with and controlled by special interests.

Disappointment in Our Political Process
I started this blog to express my disappointment in our political process. Our political system does not serve the people, it serves special interests. Our government at all levels is the best government that money can buy. Why did this happen? Well the simple answer is that we let it happen. We as a people were/are preoccupied with the pursuit of our own immediate gratification. Karl Marx was wrong, religion is not the opiate of the people, consumerism is. We are all guilty! We have fallen into the trap set by our masters. We are slaves to the bread and circuses designed to distract us from our role as vigilant citizens, protecting our republic from those who would enslave us. Is it too late?
